Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She works as an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation often. The first time she worked for ESPN in 2016. She is the daughter of the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. Since she was nine years old, her ability to converse in two languages led to her obtaining an employment in Miami as a production assistant at Univision. As an assistant producer she was given the chance to collaborate with national program producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. At some point they were moved to Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. She also has an older sister. Her family relocated into Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. Within a brief time her father split from her mother. She later remarried in the year 1995 to a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died of kidney cancer in 2006. On a trip Antonietta was staying at the house of her sister Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sibling had recently gotten an offer to work. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school however, she was very aware of her career goals. She visited Mount Union University to find out if the school was suitable for her. In the end she was enthralled with the university. They also offered her a the opportunity to study a major. After finishing high school, she decided to attend the University and major in Media Studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor was also the station manager at WRMU (91.1 FM) which was where she felt at home. The professor encouraged her to believe in herself and was greatly moved by his passion for journalism.
